Our Philosophy

At New Hope Church Dayton we believe that children and youth are:

• a gift from God and should be treated with love and care.

• important and a part of God’s plan.  Jesus died to redeem all from their sin.

• called by Christ to follow Him, thus children can be equipped to serve Christ and reach out to others.

• valuable regardless of physical appearance, intelligence, health or abilities.

• desiring a safe, positive, loving and age appropriate learning environment.

 

Our Goals

The children and youth ministry at New Hope Church has a deep desire to lead children and youth well.  We plan to do this by…

• Partnering with the family in its role and responsibility in the spiritual growth of their child.

• Providing a safe, secure and age appropriate learning environment for children and youth to participate in and where parents feel comfortable leaving them

• Welcoming and loving all children and youth at church.  We will share the love of Jesus Christ with all children and youth on a regular basis.

• Allowing children and youth the opportunity to experience the love of God while at church.

• Helping children and youth grow in their knowledge of God’s Word.

• Providing children and youth opportunities to participate in ministry.

• Enlisting and training Godly men and women to serve God through serving children and youth
