God has given us a passion to reach out and love east Dayton and the world to Jesus Christ and to build a family of believers devoted to brining Christ’s life-changing love and hope to east Dayton and the world, equipping new creatures to touch the people within their own sphere of influence.
In response to a growing climate of hopelessness in a neighborhood ravaged with crime, drugs, prostitution and poverty, we desire to impact our community to become a place where people are:
- walking together and not alone
- overcoming (addictions, brokenness, poverty, etc.) to become victorious
- discovering that God values them and has purpose for them
- being equipped to live out those purposes
- becoming devoted to Jesus Christ
We believe that this will happen when we, led by the Holy Spirit, are winning the lost and transforming our community through risk-taking mission and radical hospitality, touching His presence through worship, growing in His grace through faith forming relationships, and equipping the saints through leadership development.
Our weekly worship celebrations are attracting more than 120 hurting and broken children, youth and adults throughout the community who are financially, emotionally, and spiritually challenged and who are looking for healing, wholeness and hope. Almost every participant in this experience is a resident of the target community.
